The Peak Street Team Is Out And About In New York’s Backyard

 Here is where you can find The Peak Street Team in the coming weeks...

This Saturday, October 11th, The Peak Street Team will be out and about in Cortlandt Manor for the Historic Hudson Valley's Great Jack O' Lantern Blaze.  For more info on this local spectacle go to The Peak's homepage and click on the link.  While we're there we will be registering listeners for a chance to win a fmaily four pack of tickets to see the Mel Brook's musical, "Young Frankenstein" on Broadway.  Frankenstein, Halloween, Jack O' Lantern Blaze... Get where we're going with this?  See you around 4,000 pumpkins!

Friday, October 17th, The Peak Street Team will be stopping by the Historic Hudson Valley's Great Jack O' Lantern once more mix World Class Rock with Halloween spirit.  Check us out, stop by to say "hello," and register for The Peak's Listener Advisory Board where you can win all kinds of prizes, including the prize we will be giving away at The Blaze:  a family four pack of tickets to see the Mel Brook's musical, "Young Frankenstein" on Broadway!  Don't miss out on this special Halloween Peak Perk!

Places the Street Team has been in the past few weeks...

The Weekend Peak's Carl Mayer and The Peak Street Team were be out and about in NY's Backyard for a great cause Sunday, October 5th.  We were there for the "Little Bit O'Sole" 5K Walk for Life benefitting the Active International Cardiovascular Institute at Good Samaritan Hospital.  Registration begon @ 8:30am.  Visit http://littlebitosole.dojiggy.com/index.cfm?PageID=40011 for more information.  The Peak played lots of World Class Rock a la Soul for participants to jam-out to while walking.  We also be registered listeners for a chance to win k.d. Lang tickets.     

Saturday, October 4th The Peak Street Team joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for their "Light the Night" event at Nyack Memorial Park.  The Peak was there playing World Class Rock for all the participants.  We also brought some t-shirts, CDs, and plenty of window static decals.  For more information on "Light the Night" just head back to The Peak's homepage and click on the link.

Saturday, September 27th, 107.1 The Peak presented Joan Osborne at The Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, CT.  Audience members got a chance to register for the Peak's Listener Advisory Board and win a Peak Prize Pack:  t-shirt, CD, pair of concert tickets, and more.

The Peak Street Team was out and about in New York's Backyard Saturday, 9/27, afternoon from 12pm-2pm at Hyundai of Nanuet for their "Christmas in September" event.  We handed out those Peak static window decals (which by the way, look FANTASTIC on brand new cars we have heard), and we registered listeners for a chance to win a pair of tickets to see "The Little Mermaid" on Broadway.  Come stop by and say hello wherever we are to win something Peak! (Check out the '09s too and "Don't Pay a Dime 'til 2009!")  

The Peak's Rob Arrow was out and about with The Peak Street Team this Saturday from 3-5 at the Norwalk International Boat Show at Norwalk Cove Marina in ... guess where... Norwalk, CT!  The Peak played some tunes and registered listeners to win a pair of tickets to see Joan Osborne at Ridgefield Playhouse Saturday, September 27th.  We also be handed those Peak static window decals as well as some other goodies from our prize closet, like: CDs, t-shirts, and magnets.

Sunday, September 14th, The Peak made a pit stop at "A Taste of White Plains," an event on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains, between Maple and Main.  It was festival fun for the whole family with plenty of food, live and local music, a classic car show, and a family fun park.  The Peak handed out our FREE static window decals and registered listeners to join our Listener Advisory Board as well as enter-to-win a pair of tickets to see Steve Earle next Monday, September 22nd at Judson Memorial Church.

This past Sunday, September 14th, The Peak participated in the Fifth Annual Ferry-Go-Round.  The Hudson Ferry-Go-Round links the four riverfront communities of Haverstraw, Peekskill, Ossining, and Sleepy Hollow with high-speed ferries for one day from 11am-6pm.  Free buses transported people from the ferry docks to special events like concerts, street fairs, art shows, and food festivals held in each town that day.  The Peak was there registering listeners for our Listener Advisory Board and for a chance to win a family four pack of tickets to the Historic Hudson Valley's Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze.

Friday, September 5th, from 5-7 was another SHARK ATTACK with The Peak and Landshark lager.  Listeners who stopped by received the chance to win a pair of tickets to Coldplay when they play at the IZOD Center in October.  This SHARK ATTACK took place at Pier View in Yonkers from 5-7.
