Today, The Peak is conducting an on-air charity auction to benefit victims of this week’s flood.

As you might know, Mamaroneck is like a second home to the Peak since that’s where we record all of our Peak Performances.

And while we know there are many neighborhoods in need, we thought we’d start there.

Specifically, the auction will benefit the Larchmont/Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force, which lost all their food in the flood. The organization generally spends about $5000 every two weeks on food – and that’s under regular circumstances! So we’re going to help re-stock the shelves.

The auction is up and running – call in to bid – or with any questions at all - toll free at 877-288-1071 right up until 6PM when we’ll close the bidding.

Up for grabs:

A pair of “gold passes” to every Peak Performance at Acme Recording and Mastering in Mamaroneck for a year! These passes will put you within just a few feet of many World Class Rock performances – making for many “once in a lifetime” experiences! We will allow the passes to be transferable, so you can send friends or entertain clients!

An invitation for you and a guest to an exclusive, private party in celebration of the release of the new album from Tori Amos, American Doll Posse. Tori will be on hand and will perform. The CD comes out on May 1st, and this event will take place that night at a secret New York area location. (We’ll also throw in a copy of her new CD.)
